The HQ is the “brain” of the army. Without strong, intelligent and skilled leadership, no resistance has a chance of success in the struggle against a professionally trained enemy.

Understanding this, Yulia Tymoshenko asked people who are patriots of Ukraine and skilled military experts to head the RM. They all occupied or still occupy senior positions in Ukraine’s armed forces and have experience managing and organizing security forces.

They can now direct their knowledge, experience and skills in achieving an important goal: organizing in as short a time as possible an effective system of national defense that will cover the entire territory of Ukraine and will become the basis for support of Ukraine’s armed forces, and if necessary can fight foreign invaders.
